How long is the minimum lease?

One month.

Do I have to sign a lease?

Yes, but the lease is month-to-month. There is no long-term commitment.

Do I bring my own lock?

Yes. We recommend the round disc locks because they are more secure.

Do you send out notifications when there are auctions?

Yes. You can sign up to be on the auction email list here.

Is there anything I can't store?

You cannot store combustibles like gasoline, ammunition, etc. You can't store anything illegal.

Do you have climate controlled or dust controlled units?

Does dust get into the units?

Yes, some dust will get inside.

Where are you located?

Off of 50th St and Indiana, behind Planet Fitness and Home Zone.

Is your facility secure?

Yes. We have a secure fence, a computer-controlled gate, and security cameras. We have lighting that comes on at night.

Can I pay in advance?

Yes.

Are the contents of my storage insured?

No. Monterey Self Storage is not liable for the contents of your unit. Contact your current auto or home insurance provider and ask about renter's insurance.
